Americans are not meeting the recommended daily intake of choline. Eating foods naturally rich in choline is the best way to meet this recommended amount. Choline is found in foods such as beef and chicken liver, egg yolk, soybeans, beef, milk and peanuts:

Eggs are an excellent source of choline, plus they are affordable and easy to prepare. Choline is found exclusively in the egg’s yolk, and two yolks contain about 250 milligrams of choline, or roughly half the recommended daily supply.
